Mark is a writer, educator, and children’s advocate living near St. Louis, Missouri. He enjoys hiking, traveling, and building ukuleles. His most recent children’s book, Hector Salva al Mundo, was inspired by visits to Honduras as part of a medical-dental brigade. Mark is a court-appointed advocate for foster children in Missouri and a member of Unbound, which works to improve the lives of children in a variety of developing countries.
